New Year's Eve Shish Party

Shish would like to invite you to join them for a New Year's Eve party night to remember.  You will be pleased to know that we are not inflating our prices just because it is New Year's Eve, as we want you to join us and enjoy the same great tasting shish at the same great value prices! 

We will be serving our Classics menu in the restaurant and food in our bar area from 5pm onwards.  Our DJ will be playing the best tunes in the bar until the early hours so you can drink, dance and welcome in the New Year in true Shish fashion.     

Whilst you are free to just come down and join in the party we highly recommend you make a reservation to guarantee your table. Large party bookings are also now available at both restaurants.

Xmas with Shish

You still have time to allow Shish to make your Christmas extra special. Whether you are celebrating with colleagues, family or friends you will find all that you need at Shish.

Our Christmas menu is available from the 16th November through to the 30th December offering you an original alternative to the traditional Christmas menu, whilst still bringing you dishes with all the trimmings! Just call in to the restaurant or for larger parties please book online. Also, please don't forget that the Shish Bar is the ideal location to celebrate Christmas with friends.

BackShish Loyalty Card

Shish are pleased to announce the launch of their new customer loyalty card - available in store now! As you journey your way through our varied selection of dishes you will now receive a BackShish stamp every time you dine with Shish. For every 5 stamps you collect you will receive a reward from Shish. Rewards include a complimentary shish and bottle of Pilsner Urquell, a bottle of wine and even a meal for two after you have collected just 20 BackShish stamps.

Chinese Seasonal Menu - Available from mid January 2005

According to an ancient Chinese legend, one day in the year 2640 B.C., Princess Si Ling was sitting under a mulberry tree when a silkworm fell into her teacup. When she tried to remove it, she noticed that the cocoon had begun to unravel in the hot liquid. She handed the loose end to her maidservant and told her to walk. The servant went out of the princess's chamber, and into the palace courtyard, and through the palace gates and out into the Forbidden City, and into the countryside a half a mile away before the cocoon ran out - and so silk was discovered!

Our latest Shish seasonal menu  takes us to China, the birthplace of the silk trade and the start of the Silk Road.

Our menu offers you the chance to sample some well-known favourites as well as some lesser known dishes - we hope you enjoy the journey.
