The second Old Street branch of Shish, the smart kebab place, takes inspiration from all over, with key influences being Chinese, Afghan and Mediterranean cooking. Each kebab comes with a choice of couscous, rice, chips, salad or pickled vegetables. Date ice-cream rounds off the meal perfectly. Downstairs, there’s a soothingly light bar with a scaled-down menu and extensive cocktail list.
