A kebab restaurant might be the last
place you'd consider for Christmas dinner,
but Old Street's Shish is hoping to tempt
diners with an exotic alternative to
turkey and trimmings. Their Christmas
menu, at £22.50 per head, offers
dishes from China, Uzbekistan, Persia
and Lebanon with a festive flavour. Starters
include goose liver, apple and wild rice
boulani with sweet and spicy dipping
sauce, while mains feature duck with
pear and sage stuffing. |
