A fan of Yo! Sushi would feel at home at the curvaceous counter at Shish. Although there is no conveyor belt, food is cooked in sight of the customer and speed is part of the package. The Silk Road is the convenient catch-all theme of the cooking and various well-seasoned kebabs are served two ways: either on a plate with rice, couscous or chips, or wrapped in hot bread, the better way in my view, especially when the packaging has a ribbon of chilli sauce.
