This expanding chain, whose shtick is street/fast food of the silk route, does a good, sturdy cardboard picnic hamper which can be ordered ahead or in-store. Hampers are for two and we found the portions quite generous, at least in the deluxe hamper - four cold mezze , two summer salads, falafel, chicken and lamb wraps, plus a couple of cold beers. I liked the Afghan fatoush - chicken in a spicy yoghurt marinade - and that good old standby, watermelon and feta salad. Something sweet would have been nice to finish, some baklava perhaps? But you're on your own after the main courses.
High Point Falafel, and still-warm prepared food.
Low Point No plates or forks provided.
Price per head Regular hamper £10; deluxe hamper £17.50
Wine List Upgrade beers to a bottle of rosé for £5
Vegetarian 10/10
Service Ready and waiting at appointed time
Value for money 7.5/10
